Bernice is an experienced impact investment professional with 6+ years experience in equity investments (sustainable food and agri SME’s) and impact measurement & management. Following her early career and interest in entrepreneurship, she was awarded an international internship at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Bernice served as country manager of South Africa at a PAN-African market advisory firm, assisting South African companies mainly from the manufacturing and engineering industries with their scale up strategies to the rest of Africa and beyond.

With experience in South Asia (India), Europe (Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Spain), and Sub-Saharan Africa (Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa), Bernice has a special interest for entrepreneurship in developing countries and a passion for SME’s that can create opportunities for positive social and environmental impact whilst making a profit.
