RenewCo is a leader in the design, construction, and operation of biogas plants, offering a sustainable solution for organic waste management and renewable energy production. Our primary focus is on key industries such as food processing factories, dairies, feedlot animal farming, abattoirs, and breweries. Biogas technology harnesses the potential of off-grid electricity and, optionally, heat generated from producers’ own waste streams, making it an ideal fit for small and medium-scale applications. Our comprehensive offering ensures an end-to-end, environmentally-friendly waste management solution, minimizing or entirely eliminating waste to landfill.
RenewCo’s commitment extends to optimizing digester sizing and control, enhancing gas production and process stability. The biogas plants incorporate two locally developed patents that significantly reduce both construction and operational costs. By leveraging these technologies, RenewCo aims to contribute to a more sustainable future by transforming organic waste into renewable energy.
Value Proposition
RenewCo’s key value proposition revolves around carefully selecting the best energy technology solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs. We excel in assembling and financing projects based on energy purchase agreements, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and cost-effective energy solutions.
Our innovative financing model eliminates the burden of upfront capital investment for the customer. Instead, RenewCo assumes the responsibility of funding the construction of the plant. In return, we establish a power purchase agreement, selling energy to the customer at a rate lower than what they would pay to traditional utilities such as Eskom. Focusing on small- to medium-sized energy needs, RenewCo aims to service markets with up to 1MW demand, tailoring plant sizes to meet specific local electricity needs.
