During July, the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) at Wits University initiated a pilot adoption programme to introduce the “Team Software Process” (TSP) into South Africa. The dti is funding the initiative to build capacity in South Africa and enabling ICT companies to become globally competitive. This follows the rolling out of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) in 2007.

Arrangements for participation in the Gitex Technoloy Week in Dubai from 18-22 October 2009 are well on its way.
