The SAVANT team is off to the Cebit Tradeshow in Germany starting on the 3’rd of March. The dti has a national pavilion and 11 South African companies are sharing the space, including the Johannesburg Centre for Software Engineering and the South African Electrotechnical Export Council.

The South African companies participating are Adroit Technologies, Candor Technologies, Crunch Yard, Hefcom South Africa, Psybergate, SensePost, Thusa Business Support, Trispen Technologies and MyVoip Communications. SAVANT wishes these companies all the best in expanding their export initiatives.

The dti’s Export Promotion Unit is hosting an International Trade Initiative (ITI) to Brazil from 15-19 June 2009. For this ITI, the target sectors are the Agro- Processing & technology sectors including:
Capital equipment & allied services
Agro-Processing
Electrotechnical (ICT & Electronics)
